| Abstract (German): | Fünf Brandenburger Gesamtschulen haben leistungsschwachen und schulmüden Schülern durch Fördermaßnahmen innerhalb und durch berufsorientierende Angebote außerhalb der Schule Perspektiven für einen erfolgreichen Übergang von der Schule in den Beruf eröffnen können. Diese Initiative konnte ihre Wirkung allerdings nicht in vollem Umfang entfalten, weil die betroffenen Schüler in speziellen Lerngruppen vom übrigen Schulgeschehen getrennt wurden. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | Five comprehensive schools in Brandenburg have proven that supportive measures within the school and work-oriented programs from outside the school can ease the transition from school to working life for weak and disaffected pupils. Yet the reform initiative still failed to develop its full potential. Apparently, this is due to the fact that this initiative was separated from normal school life - which particularly manifested itself in splitting up pupils into special learning groups.
