| Abstract (German): | Die zunehmende Globalisierung und das Zusammenwachsen der europäischen Staaten verlangen Kommunikationsfähigkeit in mehreren Sprachen und die Kenntnis fremder Kulturen und Traditionen. Um möglichst vielen Menschen den Zugang zu fremden Kulturen und die Partizipation am weltweiten Dialog zu ermöglichen, muss sich vor allem der schulische Fremdsprachenunterricht Gedanken um seine Diversifikation und Dispersion machen. | Abstract (English): | Globalization and European unification demands communication competence in several languages and knowledge of different cultures and traditions. To open access to foreign cultures and the participation in a worldwide dialogue for as many people as possible, foreign language instruction has to take diversification and dispersion into consideration.
