| Abstract (German): | Mathematik bereitet auf zahlreiche Lebensanforderungen vor, auch auf das zukünftige Berufsleben. In der Erstausbildung ist der Unterricht auf einen Ausbildungsberuf ausgerichtet. Der Mathematikunterricht dient der beruflichen und fachlichen Qualifizierung. Der Frage, welche mathematischen Kompetenzen bezogen auf einen Ausbildungsberuf gefördert werden sollten, wird in diesem Beitrag am Beispiel nahrungsgewerblicher Ausbildungsberufe nachgegangen. | Abstract (English): | Mathematics prepares students for numerous life requirements, including future working life. In initial training, education is orientated to a training occupation. Mathematics teaching serves the purpose of vocational and technical qualification. The question of which mathematical competences should be promoted in relation to a training occupation is examined in this article using the example of training occupations in the food industry.
