| Abstract (German): | Mit der Etablierung des Kompetenzbereiches Bewertung als eine der vier Säulen der Bildungsstandards für den naturwissenschaftlichen Unterricht wird die Einbeziehung ethischer Auseinandersetzungen zu einem verbindlichen Aufgabengebiet von Naturwissenschaftslehrerinnen und -lehrern. Am Beispiel des Biologieunterrichts hebt dieser Beitrag im Anschluss an das sozial-intuitionistische Modell der moralischen Urteilsbildung die Bedeutung sozial und kulturell vermittelter Welt- und Menschenbilder in ethischen Bewertungsprozessen hervor. Die sozial-intuitionistische Perspektive ermöglicht ein vertiefendes Verständnis der Genese und kulturellen Beeinflussung moralischer Urteile und kann vor einem einseitig rationalistischen Verständnis ethischer Bewertungskompetenz schützen. | Abstract (English): | With the establishment of decision-making competence as one of the four pillars of the national science education standards, the inclusion of ethical considerations becomes an obligatory challenge for science teachers. Subsequent to the social intuitionist model of moral judgment this article points out the meaning of worldview and idea of man, which are socially and culturally conveyed in ethical disputes. The social intuitionist perspective provides a deeper understanding of the generation of moral judgment and the cultural influences on moral judgments and protects us from an onesided rationalistic understanding of decision-making competence.
