| Abstract (English): | Learning from other people’s biographies has a high priority in didactics. The aim is to relate to and reflect on one’s own life story by analysing the life and work of other people. Personally meaningful learning can be made possible by linking compulsory learning content with the learning prerequisites, interests and thematisation of the learners’ own lives. Learning from other people’s biographies can take various didactic starting points, which are illustrated in the article using four different examples of implementation from the context of teacher training. The focus is on getting to know famous but unknown people as well as working on unknown and initially supposedly inconspicuous biographies, also against the background of individual professionalisation processes. Our findings from the above-mentioned realisations are incorporated into a joint conclusion. (DIPF/Orig.) |
