| Abstract (German): | Die „Alternative für Deutschland“ (AfD) nutzt Schulpolitik gezielt zur Durchsetzung einer autoritär-nationalistischen Kulturpolitik. Anhand einer qualitativ-inhaltsanalytischen Untersuchung von Wahlprogrammen der Landesverbände Brandenburg, Sachsen und Thüringen zeigt der Beitrag, wie die Partei Unterrichtsinhalte strategisch rahmt – etwa durch Ablehnung von Vielfalt, eine Re-Nationalisierung des Geschichtsunterrichts, Stärkung der Heimatidentität und die Einschränkung kritisch-demokratischer Debatten unter dem Vorwand politischer Neutralität. | Abstract (English): | The political party “Alternative für Deutschland” (“Alternative for Germany”, AfD) strategically uses education policy to enforce an authoritarian-nationalist cultural agenda. Based on a qualitative content analysis of election programs from the state associations in Brandenburg, Saxony, and Thuringia, the article demonstrates how the party frames curriculum contents – for instance, through the rejection of diversity, the re-nationalization of history education, the promotion of national identity and the restriction of critical-democratic debate under the pretext of political neutrality.
