| Abstract (German): | Der Text bezieht sich auf den Titel eines Bildungskongresses im Jahr 1990 („Der Nord-Süd-Konflikt – Bildungsauftrag für die Zukunft“) und reflektiert in diesem Kontext über den Umgang der Pädagogik mit dem sog. Ausländerproblem unter dem Eingangsmotto „Jeder ist Ausländer – fast überall“, da die Tatsache, irgendwo – und sei es im Urlaub – Ausländer zu sein, zum Normalfall unserer heutigen Weltgesellschaft gehört. Die Autorin formuliert hierzu zunächst fünf prägnante Thesen zum sog. Ausländerproblem im Nord-Süd-Konflikt und weitere fünf Thesen zur Begründung einer interkulturellen Pädagogik als Bildungsauftrag unserer heutigen Schule. Die Autorin argumentiert für die Verwendung eines konstruktiven Kulturbegriffs in Abgrenzung zu einem verdinglichten. (Autorin) |
| Abstract (English): | The text refers to the title of an educational conference in the year 1990 (“The North-South Conflict – An Educational Mandate for the Future”) and, in this context, reflects on how education deals with the so-called ‘foreigner problem’ under the opening motto ‘Everyone is a foreigner – almost everywhere’, since the fact of being somewhere else – even if only on holiday – is part of normal life in today’s global society. The author begins by formulating five concise theses on the so-called ‘foreigner problem’ in North-South relations and a further set of five theses on the rationale for intercultural pedagogy as the educational mission of our schools today. She, then, argues for the use of a constructive concept of culture as opposed to a reified one. (Author) |
