| Abstract (German): | Professionalität entwickelt sich ausgehend vom Studium in einem Prozess während der gesamten Ausübung des Lehrberufs. Das Konzept der iterativen Bildung versteht professionalitätsbezogene Bildungsprozesse als mehrdimensionale Verschränkung von Studium, praktischer Tätigkeit und damit verbundenen Lernprozessen sowie wiederkehrender Teilnahme an organisierten Bildungsangeboten. Das Schulfeld als Professionsfeld und die Pädagogischen Hochschulen als Professionshochschulen spielen für eine solche Gesamtkonzeption von Bildungsprozessen eine wichtige Rolle und übernehmen spezifische Funktionen bei der Ermöglichung einer kontinuierlichen, nicht linearen Professionalitätsentwicklung von Lehrpersonen. | Abstract (English): | Professional skills develop through an iterative process that starts with the studies and continues throughout the whole teaching career. This process perceives learning processes through professional development as a multidimensional interconnection between academic education, practical experience, the respective learning processes, and continuous participation in organised further education and training. The field of education and the universities of teacher education play an important role in this iterative process and serve specific purposes in facilitating a continuous, non-linear professional development of teaching staff.
