| Abstract (German): | Ausgehend von Theorien Dinters (1817), Zillers (1876) und Reins (1906), wird die Zielangabe des persönlichen Bezugs definiert und durch eine Herstellungsanleitung operationalisiert. Sie besteht darin, eine persönliche Beziehung zwischen dem Lernenden und dem neuen Lehrstoff herzustellen. Im Sinne der genannten Autoren wie der kognitiven Motivationstheorie (Heckhausen 1980) ist zu erwarten, daß die Zielangabe des persönlichen Bezugs zu einer Erhöhung der Lernmotivation führt. In einer Serie von drei Experimenten wurde gezeigt, daß eine Variante dieser Zielangabe die Wahl zwischen zwei Lehrtexten stark beeinflußte, nicht aber das Lernen. Die praktische und theoretische Bedeutung der Ergebnisse wird diskutiert. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | The early theories of Dinter (1817),Ziller (1876), and Rein (1906) have served as a basis for the author defining personally relevant goal Statements and for developing a technology which can be used when formulating such goal statements. Personally relevant types of goal statements connect the material to be learned with what the learner considers to be of value for him. According to the early cognitive theories of the 19th century mentioned above, and according to modern cognitive theories of motivation (Heckhausen 1980) this type of goal statement is expected to raise learning motivation. A series of three experiments showed that one of these goal statement types had a remark able impact on the learners’ choices among instructional texts but did not influence their subsequental learning. The implications for educational theory and practice are discussed |
