| Abstract (German): | Für die empirische Testung von Bildungsstandards hat das Berliner Forschungsprojekt um Dietrich Benner und Rolf Schieder ein Kompetenzmodell entwickelt, dessen Matrix einerseits aus Deutungs- und Partizipationskompetenz sowie andererseits aus religiösen Gegenstandsbereichen besteht. Zwar wirft dieses bemerkenswerte Kompetenzmodell aus religionspädagogischer Perspektive auch kritische Rückfragen auf, jedoch stellt dies den entscheidenden Gewinn nicht in Frage, dass eine empirische Testung von Bildungsstandards für den Religionsunterricht vorangetrieben wird. | Abstract (English): | The Berlin research project around Dietrich Benner and Rolf Schieder has developed a competence model for the empirical testing of educational standards, the matrix of which consists of interpretation and participation competence, on the one hand, and of religious contents, on the other. Although this remarkable competence model gives rise to critical inquiries from a religion pedagogical point of view, this circumstance does by no means call into question its decisive benefit to religious instruction due to its promotion of the empirical testing of educational standards.
