| Abstract (German): | Der vorliegende Beitrag konzentriert sich auf Bilder und ihre Funktion im Deutschunterricht, hauptsächlich auf Grundschulniveau. Bilder erscheinen im Unterricht als sehr wichtig, weil sie Träger von bestimmten Inhalten und Informationen sind, sie regen zur Stellungnahme oder Auseinandersetzungen an und ermöglichen den Ausdruck von ästhetischen Erlebnissen. Allgemein wird das Bild als ein Stück Realität aufgefasst und als ein leicht verständliches Kommunikationsmittel in den Unterricht allgemein eingesetzt. Es hat also direkte Verweisfunktion auf die unmittelbare Wirklichkeit und ist einfacher zu verstehen als ein Text, der doppelt kodiert erscheint. Für den Einsatz von Bildern in den Deutschunterricht auf Grundschulniveau sprechen pädagogische, medienspezifische, lernpsychologische und mutter- und fremdsprachendidaktische Argumente. | Abstract (English): | The present article focuses on pictures and their function in teaching German mainly in primary school. Pictures in class are very important, because they transport certain contents and information; they provoke statement or debate and also allow the expression of aesthetic experiences. Pictures are broadly perceived as a piece of reality and they are generally used in class as an elementary means of communication. They also have the direct function of reference to the immediate reality and they are more easily to understand than a text, which seems to be doubly encoded. Many arguments – pedagogical, communicative, psychological and didactical - speak in favor for the use of pictures in teaching German in primary school. (DIPF/Orig.) |
