| Abstract (German): | Dieser Beitrag geht aus einer interdisziplinären Perspektive der Frage nach, welche Erfahrungsräume im Kontext von Flucht und Ankunft entstehen können, was sie bestimmt und welche Lern- und Bildungsprozesse hier (potenziell) vollzogen werden. Es wird die Arbeitshypothese verfolgt, dass das gemeinsame Erleben der Erstaufnahmesituation zur Herausbildung eines konjunktiven Erfahrungsraums (Mannheim, 1980) und einer gemeinsamen Identität und Handlungssicherheit führt. Die empirischen Ergebnisse weisen zwar auf geteilte Erfahrungen hin, die jedoch im räumlichen Setting der Gemeinschaftsunterkunft nicht zur kollektiven Erfahrung werden. Der Herausbildung eines konjunktiven Wissens stehen die Unbeständigkeit der Lebenssituation sowie ein absoluter Gegenwartsbezug ebenso entgegen wie die Ablehnung der zugeschriebenen Identität als Flüchtling. | Abstract (English): | In the context of refugee reception processes, first reception facilities can serve as spaces of collective experiences, which may foster the formation of a new group identity. We use the concept of conjunctive experiential spaces (Mannheim 1964) to examine the collective effects of shared experiences and shared space. However, our empirical findings suggest that shared experiences do not necessarily lead to the emergence of conjunctive experiential spaces. The formation of conjunctive knowledge is opposed by the instability of the life situation in the first reception facility and by the asylum application process. Furthermore, even though asylum seekers share a specific migration and life trajectory, they may strive not to incorporate these experiences in their self-concept and reject the attributed identity of refugee.
