| Abstract (German): | Es wird eine Einführung in den heutigen Wissensstand der psychologischen Problemlöseforschung gegeben. Die Darstellung ist dabei auf die folgenden Punkte konzentriert: (a) Verstehen eines Problems; dabei werden der Aufbau eines Problemraumes, unterscheidbare Arten von Wissen sowie Fragen einer objektiven Problembeschreibung diskutiert. Es schließt sich (b) eine Darstellung verschiedener Problemlösungsstrategien an: Algorithmisches und heuristisches Vorgehen, Mittel-Ziel-Analyse, Strategien beim Lösen von Raumvorstellungsaufgaben, Wissen und Problemlosen. | Abstract (English): | An introduction to the current psychological research on problem solving is presented. The article focuses on the following: (a) The comprehension of a problem, including the construction of a problem space, different types of knowledge, as well as questions concerning an objective description of a given problem. (b) A discussion of different problem solving strategies: algorithmic and heuristic methods, means-ends analysis, strategies used to solve problems of spacial imagination, the relationship of knowledge and problem solving.
