| Abstract (German): | Die Diskussion um den Bildungswert wurde lange Zeit unter Gegenüberstellung von materialer und formaler Bildung geführt. Nachdem der formale Aspekt bereits dargestellt wurde (ZfDN 2/1, 1996) , widmet sich der vorliegende Aufsatz der materialen Bildung, genauer der Bedeutung, die der Vermittlung technisch-praktischer Kenntnisse im Physikunterricht der höheren Schulen zuerkannt wurde. | Abstract (English): | The discussion on the educational value of physics was for a long time carried out by contrasting formal and material education. The formal aspect has already been dealt with (ZfDN 2/1, 1996). In this article the history of material education is treated, specially the importance which was given to technical-practical knowledge in higher level physics instruction. (DIPF/Orig.) |
