| Abstract (German): | Die Autorin greift mit ihrem Beitrag eine zentrale Thematik gesellschaftlicher Bildung im Sachunterricht auf. Sie zeigt anhand der Ergebnisse eines Forschungsprojektes, wie der Begriff des ,Entscheidens‘ theoretisch konzeptionell zu fassen ist und diese Kompetenz im Sachunterricht gefördert werden kann. | Abstract (English): | Making decisions – individually and collectively – is part of our everyday activities. Decision-making processes can vary greatly and are often associated with uncertainties in an increasingly complex world. This article uses semi-standardised interviews with second-graders to show what primary school pupils understand by »decision« and what is important to them in decision-making processes. Building on this, it shows how the promotion of decision-making skills can contribute to dealing with complexity and uncertainty. And thus contributes to education for sustainable development and civic education in the subject. (DIPF/Orig.) |
