| Abstract (Deutsch): | Familien, Kindergärten, Vereine/Verbände, Offene Jugendeinrichtungen und Schulen sowie weitere pädagogische Institutionen tragen auf ihre je spezifische Weise mehr oder weniger zur Bildung von demokratischen Subjekten bei. Dabei begünstigen oder erschweren die jeweiligen institutionellen Strukturen die Grade und Formen von Mitbestimmung für ihre Adressat/innen sowie damit korrespondierende Bildungsprozesse. Deshalb kann Pädagogik in kapitalistisch-demokratischen Gesellschaften nicht in einer einzigen Institution gelingen. Sondern nur das - ggf. komplementäre - "interplay with other forms of associations" (Dewey) birgt Chancen für eine demokratische Identitätsbildung. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (Englisch): | Families, nursery schools, clubs/associations, open youth centers, and schools as well as other pedagogical institutions contribute to the formation and education of democratic subjects, each in their own specific way and to different degrees. In this, the respective institutional structures favor or impede the degrees and the forms of participation of the addressees as well as the corresponding educational processes. Therefore, in capitalist-democratic societies, pedagogics cannot succeed in one single institution. Only the - possibly complementary - "interplay with other forms of associations" (Dewey) holds the chance of forming a democratic identity. (DIPF/Orig.) |
